This position will be based out of our Evanston, IL office on a hybrid office/home schedule.
                                
JOB SUMMARY

The Associate Brand Manager (ABM) will play a critical role in support of the Primal Pet Food brand. This role requires a dynamic individual who can leverage data-driven analysis to inform marketing strategy and tactical implementation. They will drive strategy for both product and communication experience, with a focus on digital and social content strategy, management, and optimization. They will report to the Senior Brand Manager on the Primal Pet Food brand team.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Communications:
  • Own and optimize strategy and implementation of Primal Pet Food web presence, e-mail, social and influencer strategies.
    • Web – Leverage digital best practices and consumer journey insights to lead on-going website optimization, content management, and deployment.
    • EmailLead branded email content and deployment strategy.
    • Social and InfluencerLead Primal social and influencer strategy, content optimization and development.

Product Renovation:
  • Lead product renovation and portfolio optimization activity within Primal Pet Food portfolio, including, but not limited to:
    • On-going evaluation of current portfolio and identification of product renovation opportunities.
    • Leading cross-functional teams in all phases of pre- and post-renovation activity.

Base Business Support:
  • Lead portfolio prioritization strategy and downstream implementation internally with cross-functional partners and externally at retail.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
 
  • Strong understanding of communication and product experience principles and strategies
  • Classically trained brand marketer with demonstrated experience and expertise in digital marketing strategy, tactical implementation, and content management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience creating business cases and making data-driven decisions in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
