We’re looking for an experienced Director, Sales Analytics, reporting to Chief Customer Officer, to work across our portfolio of brands and build a best-in-class analytics infrastructure that will help shape our strategic roadmap and the future of our business. You will play an integral role in helping us deliver on our commitment to giving dogs and cats the life they deserve by offering innovative solutions that are built with purpose and backed by research.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to gather business requirements and design scalable data architectures that meet analytics needs and support business goals
  • Synthesizing a wide variety of data sources and building out dashboards for the organization
  • Partner with stakeholders to establish goals, make prioritization decisions, and communicate progress towards analytical goals
  • Utilize Nielsen to pull, manipulate, and put data into proper reports to present to stakeholders and leadership on a regular basis.
  • Provide insights to drive forecasting accuracy.
  • Dive deep in our data to uncover insights that allow us to drive more meaningful actions for the business
  • Identify patterns hidden in our data, push the boundaries in insight generation and effectively connect the dots across the business
  • Build and lead impactful Analytics function for the business
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business Administration, Market Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Data Science, or another related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Customer Analytics, Data System Management, or Market research. Software Engineering related field is a bonus
  • Experience in Pet Food, Food & Beverage, or Consumer Packaged Goods Industries - strongly preferred. 
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with Nielsen and/or IRI
  • Experience with Power BI (or a similar BI tool)
  • Expertise in Excel
  • Experience leveraging data to drive strategic insights. Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Expert-level analytical skills and a proven track record of using data to drive revenue and impact business results
  • Strong SQL skills and a deep understanding of relational databases and how to leverage a wide variety of data structures
  • Must be detail-oriented, proactive, thrive as a self-starter and excel in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and can prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal). Ability to build cross-functional relationships, effectively facilitate discussions, and drive consensus.
